I've been talking with Coach Trickett a lot. They have a really good program up there, and had one of the best recruiting classes in the country last season. It's really nice up there," Williams said.
"I went up there unofficially last year and though it was beautiful. The campus is amazing, I loved that circus they have there too," he quoted.
There are a multitude of teams looking for Duaron's services at the next level, so far he's been slow to trim the list and says he's wide open. He still has FSU on his mind though.
"There are about 50 other schools showing interest in me right now. Nebraska, Rutgers, Florida UCF, USF, Georgia Tech are some of them that stand out besides Florida State. I'm wide open right now though," Williams discussed.
Like most good athletes, Williams excels at multiple sports and is busy this offseason staying in shape.
"I'm focused on track season and spring football which is coming up soon. I just went to a combine a few weeks ago and got overall MVP there. I want to improve on everything, and lose a little bit of weight before next season," he revealed.
Don't plan on a commitment anytime soon from the big man, he's waiting to announce his decision on the big stage next January.
"I'm planning on committing at the All-American game if I get invited there. I want to do it after the season so that it doesn't have any effect on my teammates or our season coming up. I don't want any attention on me during the season, it should be on our team instead," Williams stated.
He's been a great student athlete and looks to finish his high school career on a high note. "I have a 3.7 GPA and 3.0 core, I took the ACT and got a 22," he finished.
