Tysean Holloway is a 6'0, 187 pound RB from Asheville, North Carolina that ran for 1,891 yards and 29 TDs as a junior.
"I have grown a little and am over 6'0 today and I weigh 187 pounds. I am going to keep working in the weight room and adding weight", said Holloway.
The talented athlete holds two offers today, "Georgia Tech and North Carolina have both offered, but I am getting a lot of interest from a number of schools."
The former QB talked about his interest in Florida State, "I call down there all the time, I am very interested in FSU and am planning a trip down there, perhaps during my Spring break. They have a lot of tradition and are trying to get back on top."
One thing that is not going to bother Holloway is competition, "the depth chart affects me a little because I want to play, but I love to compete and whoever I go against is going to have to show me that they are better because I am going to fight for the job. If they want me at camp, I will be there."
Holloway brings some intangibles to the table, "I have great hands, the best on the team. I can play slot back or receiver if they want me to. I feel I have good vision as well and can fit into any situation."
Holloway was tight with Jeoffrey Pagan and traveled with him on many trips last year, "I've been to Alabama, Clemson, Tennessee, NC State, North Carolina, Georgia, and Georgia Tech. They are all awesome schools. It is great that I have seen so many different schools already."
Another close friend is 2012 prospect Jamel Harbison, a WR from Mallard Creek with four offers, "We have been friends a long time, it would be great to play at the same college, but we each have to make our own decision." Harbison has four offers right now- Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
Holloway sports a 2.9 GPA and is expected to be a full qualifier. Showing his versatility, he is being recruited right now at three different positions; QB at GT for their triple option, Safety at North Carolina, and RB by a number of different schools. His next event will be the Nike Camp at Duke University.
