Jordan Diggs is one of the top Safeties in the Sunshine State and has 15 offers right now, the 6'0, 190 pounder talked a little recruiting.
"I'm really wide open in terms of recruiting, I have been getting some new offers recently and am trying to build some relationships with coaches. Ohio State, South Carolina, and South Florida are three schools that I am very interested in right now, but I am open to everyone. I have spoken the most with those schools and feel comfortable with them. The Auburn offer caught me by surprise, it was an honor to be offered by the defending National Champs."
"I have not seen that many schools and I am really looking forward to getting on some more campuses."
One school that has not offered yet is Florida State, but Diggs was in Tallahassee last weekend to check out a practice.
"I had a great time in Tallahassee. They showed me more attention than my previous visit and I really like everything about FSU. They are going to check me out in the Spring and hopefully they will give me an offer. I loved their practice, it was very intense, and the team really seemed like they were one. The DBs are very physical, so I know I could fit in there."
On Wednesday he received more good news.
"I was an invited to play in the Army game, that has been one of my goals and I have worked really hard to have that opportunity. I really want to compete against the best players in the country and that will give me the forum to do so. I watched Jaylen(Watkins) two years ago in that game and of course Aaron(Lynch) and Sammy(Watkins) played last year."
The game will likely be the place that he makes his decision on which school to attend.
"I have always wanted to make my choice on TV and I would say there is a good chance that I do it at the All-Star game. That is not guaranteed though, I may find the school that I want to attend before the game and when I know, I will commit."
The future four-star Safety also changed high schools last week.
"I appreciate everything that Coach Dorn has done for me at Bishop Verot, he is a big part of who I am today, but I just felt that I needed more competition daily in practice. Having the chance to go against Mario(Pender) every day in practice will make me a better player. I also want to win a state title and think we can do that at Island Coast. They were in the state semi's a year ago and the players are hungry to win it all."
Jordan Diggs currently holds 15 offers including Ohio State, South Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Central Florida, and Connecticut.
