This past season as a junior rushed for over 1,400 yards and 21 touchdowns. Hamilton, a second team all-state selection, also picked off approximately seven passes from his safety spot.

"I project myself playing running back in college," Hamilton said. "I'm a combination of power and speed. I would compare my style to Eddie George."

The All-Space Coast selection is indeed a combination of power and speed. He has benched-pressed as much as 335 pounds and he has been tested in the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.

Right now Hamilton is receiving letters from Miami, Florida, Florida State and Central Florida but two teams stand out the most.

"Miami and Florida State are my two favorites," he said.

"I like how Miami has been playing and Florida State was my favorite team growing up. I'll pick a school where I can get a good education and a place that has a good football program. Someplace that has a good environment is also important to me."

This summer Hamilton plans attending Miami and Florida's football camps.
