Noles Land New Jersey QB

One the most important positions to the recruiting class of 2012 is the quarterback and FSU reeled in a commitment Thursday night.

Sean Maguire becomes the 10th commitment of the 2012 class.

The 6'3 passer made the call on Thursday afternoon, "I spoke with Coach Fisher, Coach Craig, and Coach Coley and said I was ready to be a commit. I am very excited, ever since I left the campus in March, I knew that I wanted to be a Nole. Today it happened."

The New Jersey QB described himself as a player, "I am a winner, that is my main focus. I am 19-3 as a starter and I will do whatever it takes to get the win. I think I can fit a variety of systems, right now I play in a pro set and Wing-T offense."

Many did not expect Maguire to commit until he came to visit on June 19th, "I am still coming, but it will be for the weekend. I plan to throw that first day and just enjoy being at FSU."

Maguire gives FSU commits at RB, OL, DL(4), LB, DB, and P for the 2012 class.

NoleDigest will follow up in a few days with more from Maguire.
