Brouce Mompremier, a linebacker from Miami (Fla.) Edison, was hyped early as one of the top linebackers in Florida. Fifteen days into the May evaluation period, the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder has college scouts in agreement.

"He's already been offered by LSU, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Kansas, Florida State and Florida," Edison head football coach Corey Bell said.

"Right now I think the teams he likes the best are LSU, Miami, Florida State and North Carolina State. Miami has already been by and I think they will offer him soon."

"Florida State and Miami have both been by the school," Mompremier said. "Coach CJ at Miami has film on me and coach Steele at Florida State told my coach that he was going to call me soon."

Mompremier is still listing Florida State but the 'Noles have dropped down his list some.

"My top four teams are Miami, Maryland North Carolina State and Ohio State," he said.
