Is GA Standout On FSU Radar?

<b>Thomas Brown, </b>from Tucker, Ga., is one of the fastest running backs in the South. The talented 5-foot-10, 185-pound standout with sub 4.4 40 speed also stars in the secondary. Right now he's standing at 12 offers with more on the way. Do the Seminoles have interest?

"A coach from Florida State was by my school today and he tried calling me at home but I wasn't here," Brown, who rushed for 1,700 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior, said. "When the coach called he said he would try later tonight."

Right now Brown is open but likes Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Virginia and North Carolina best. All of those schools have offered.

Does he like any of the Florida schools?

"I like Florida State and if they offer I would put them in my top five," he said.

Most schools are recruiting the Georgia native at running back expect Penn State who likes him as a corner.

"I wouldn't mind playing running back but I'm open to playing on both sides of the ball," Brown said.

Brown would like to make a decision on what school to attend before the season start.
