"Florida and Miami have also called Hamilton in May.

Right now the 6-foot-0 and 205 pounder has interest in Michigan, Florida State, Tennessee, Florida, and Miami.

"I'm considering camping at Florida, Miami and Central Florida," he said.

Recently, Jamie Newberg, The National Recruiting Analysis had some interesting comments on the big running back form Central Florida.

"From watching film on him, he's a very good back with power and speed," Newberg said. "Every one is talking about Bobby Washington and Charlie Jones. Those people need to watch out for Mike Hamilton."

Hamilton, who is on track to qualify academically with a grade point average of 2.5 and a SAT test score of 17, had a very productive spring.

"I had close to 200 yards and two touchdowns in our jamboree against Sebastian River," he said. "I played running back this spring and in the fall I'll play a little bit of defensive back also."
