Florida State adds 2012 post prospect

Boris Bojanovsky made his collegiate choice on Tuesday. The talented big man is going to the ACC to play for coach Leonard Hamilton at Florida State.

Boris Bojanovsky is headed to Florida State.

"The 7-foot-3 native of the Slovak Republic Boris Bojanovsky has committed to play for head coach Leonard Hamilton at Florida State University of the ACC," the Canarias Basketball Academy's Web site announced Tuesday.

According to the release, Bojanovsky had strong interest from North Carolina State, Virginia Tech, Miami, Georgia Tech and Missisippi State.

"I really believe that he will flourish under the guidance of head coach Leonard Hamilton," CBA Director Rob Orellana said in the release.

Last summer, Bojanovsky played in the U18 European Championships and averaged 22 points and 13 rebounds.
