Bob Gibbons and Van Coleman
"Leonard Hamilton arrived on campus with much fanfare and a very difficult task. His program needed an injection of talent and while no one doubted Hamilton's gifts as a recruiter, few would have predicted such a sweet early haul."

"If you had told me three years ago that the buzz surrounding basketball among Florida State fans would rival that of both football and baseball here in Tallahassee, I would have said you were crazy. The anticipation for the upcoming basketball season is as high as I can remember it and I was here during the Charlie Ward-Sam Cassell-Bob Sura era. Seminole fans feel like this team is very close. The fans know there is a chance that this team could be very good very soon."
