Brown Surprised By Tallahassee

A few weeks a go Florida State was slipping down the list of Thomas Brown, a running back from Tucker (GA). A recent unofficial visit to Florida State with his teammate Brandon Lang has the Noles back in the mix. Where do the Seminoles stack up to the other teams on his list?

"Florida State and Maryland stand out," Brown said. "I felt more comfortable at Florida State than Georgia. Don't get me wrong because I felt comfortable at Georgia but I felt more at home at Florida State. I really liked the atmosphere and it looks like a great place to play."

Brown got a chance to sit down with legend head coach Bobby Bowden. How did that go?

"It went well, "the four-star running back said. "I was kind of nervous because I never met him before. He was very down to earth."

Some of the other teams that Brown is considering are Georgia, LSU, Wake Forest, and Notre Dame.

Brown, who will take an unofficial visit to Georgia on Friday, might possibly make a decision before the season starts.

"I might make a decision before the season starts but I don't know yet," he said. "Things are getting easier for me."

The Tucker high school senior to be is on track to fully qualify with a 2.9 core grade point average and a score of 910 on the SAT.

Brown and Lange are considering playing for the same school.
