FSU Baseball Releases TV Schedule

On Friday, Florida State announced a total of 26 Seminole baseball games will be televised in 2013.

Seminole fans across the nation will have a great opportunity to watch Florida State baseball in 2013 as a total of 26 games will be carried nationally and/or regionally by ESPNU, ESPN3, CSS and RSN (Regional Sports Network) as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Thursday, February 7.

As part of the ACC's enhanced television package with ESPN, Florida State will have four games air on ESPNU and 19 more on ESPN3. Two games will be carried on both CSS and ESPN3, while one will be televised on both RSN and ESPN3.

"We are very proud and excited to be associated with ESPN's college baseball broadcasts this season," said head coach Mike Martin. "This is a tremendous lift for our program and we are just proud that they chose Florida State to be a part of it.

The television package includes 19 games against ACC opponents and seven non-conference games. Fans will get their first glimpse of the 2013 Seminole squad on Friday, February 15 when Florida State takes on Rhode Island at 4:00 p.m. on opening day in a game airing on ESPN3.

Other non-conference televised games on ESPN3 will feature three against UCF, two against USF and a mid-week match-up at home against the Florida Gators.

ESPNU will feature Florida State twice at home and two more times on the road with the first coming at 12 noon on Sunday, April 7 in the series finale at Miami. Other ESPNU games include a Monday night showdown in Raleigh against NC State on May 13 and the last two games of the regular season against Clemson (May 17 & May 18) in Tallahassee.

The first two games of the Miami series (April 5 & April 6) will air on both CSS and ESPN3, while the series opener against NC State on Saturday, May 11 will air as the ACC Game of the Week on RSN and ESPN3 at 12:00 p.m.

In addition, all 13 games of the ACC Championship will be televised live for the sixth straight year. The first four days of the tournament, set for May 22 through May 25 at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, N.C., will be carried by RSN and ESPN3. The championship game, scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, will be telecast nationally on ESPN2.

RSN includes Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Carolina, Fox Sports Florida, Sun Sports, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic and NESN. All ACC games produced as part of the RSN package will also be available on ESPN3 in locations beyond the RSN territory.
