New Contracts Finalized

Tuesday may have been an off day for the football team but that didn't keep news from coming out of the football offices.

Two new coaches finalized their contracts and veteran offensive line coach Rick Trickett signed an extension.

Assistants Jay Graham and Tim Brewster both inked new two-year contracts, which were made available via a public records request.

Graham, Florida State's new running backs coach who was hired away from Tennessee nearly a month ago will make $275,000 annually in his two-year deal.

Brewster, FSU's new tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator will receive $290,000 annually in a two-year deal. Brewster joined the staff nearly a month ago after deciding to leave Mississippi State where he spent two seasons as the wide receivers coach.

The buyout for both Graham and Brewster's contracts are the same. Each would pay $75,000 buyout during the first year of the contract and $50,000 during the second year.

Additionally, veteran offensive line coach Rick Trickett was signed to a two-year extension that locks him up through the 2015 season. Trickett will make $455,000 annually which is a bump up from his old contract where he made $400,000 the last two seasons.
