Thompson sets another visit to FSU

Albany (Ga.) Westover 2015 five-star defensive tackle Trenton Thompson has offers from almost every big name program in the southeast.

While Thompson doesn't have a clear cut favorite right now, he does have schools that stand out to him. Georgia, Florida, Florida State, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss are the schools that are recruiting Thompson the hardest.

Thompson only lives an hour away from Florida State and has seen the Seminoles multiple times. He plans on seeing them again when Florida State takes on Miami November 2nd. Thompson is also a big fan of the Florida State coaching staff.

"FSU has good team," Thompson said. "I like coaching staff, especially coach Sal [Sunseri] and coach [Odell] Haggins."

A university's coaching staff is one of the main things he is looking for in his school of choice along with the schools educational system. "I'm looking for a great coaching staff to put me in the NFL and to get my degree."

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound Thompson has 18 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and four sacks through four games this season. He has been a dominant force on for his team despite their 2-2 record. Westover plays Cairo (Ga.) at home this coming Friday.
