Ragnow currently has a top-7 of Florida State, Arkansas, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, California, and Missouri. Distance will not play a factor in his recruitment.
Ragnow had great things to say about his visit to Florida State and Rick Trickett.
"I love coach Trickett," Ragnow said. "They have a great school academically, they are really successful and potentially offer very early playing time. I really liked the new indoor practice facility and the speed of the team."
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound prospect plays both ways for Chanhassen. This season through five games he has 21 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble. While he has been a dominant force on the defensive side of the football, Florida State is recruiting him at offensive tackle.
"Trickett sees me at OT, but says I can play any position," Ragnow said.
Ragnow has not planned any officials as of now and doesn't know when he will make a decision.
