Bruce wasn't ready to name a top five but said that one school is definitely standing out to him. "I don't have a top five yet, but let it be known that Florida State is definitely leading," Bruce said.
With Florida State being his leader some would think that he grew up a fan of the Seminoles. That is not the case.
"I grew up a Miami fan," Bruce said. "As I started to mature and make decisions for myself I began to move more toward Florida State."
Bruce will get to see both of those schools in two weeks as he plans to attend the Miami-Florida State game on November 2nd. This will not be the first time he has visited Florida State though. "I visited Florida State when I was an 8th grader," Bruce said. "I'm looking forward to seeing it again after coach [Tim] Brewster and coach [Jimbo] Fisher came and offered me themselves. I completely fell in love with Florida State."
According to Bruce there is a lot to love about the Seminoles.
"I love that they spread the ball around and get the ball to their receivers in space," Bruce said. "They let them use their athletic ability to get into the end zone."
The 5-foot-9, 179-pound wide receiver has received a four-star ranking in the initial 2016 rankings. He will be firmly in the 2016 Scout 300 when it comes out. University School is 8-0 on the season and Bruce has been a key part of their offense. So far this season he has 479 yards receiving on 31 receptions. That is good enough for a 15.45 yard per catch average to go along with seven touchdowns.
Bruce does not plan on making a decision until the beginning of his senior year.
