Scarlett enjoys Florida State atmosphere

Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) University School 2015 4-star running back Jordan Scarlett is one of the most highly coveted recruits in the 2015 class.

He currently holds offers from over 20 schools including Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ohio State, and Wisconsin. Scarlett took a visit to Florida State this past weekend to watch the Seminoles take on the Miami Hurricanes and he had great things to say about the atmosphere.

"It was crazy," Scarlett said. "They have a lot of diehard fans and an extremely loud stadium. My favorite part of the visit was when the team ran out. The stadium got so loud and the warchant was incredible."

Scarlett was paying special attention to the Florida State running game and he wasn't disappointed with what he saw.

"It was good," Scarlett said. "I like the way [Florida State] ran the football and I liked that they threw to the running back out of the backfield."

When it comes to his future school of choice Scarlett is looking for three things. "I'm looking to get a good education, early playing time, and a place with a family atmosphere," Scarlett said.

Scarlett has been invited to the 2015 Army All-American game, but is waiting for an offer from the Under Armour All-American game. The 5-foot-11, 194-pound running back is the No. 5 running back and the No. 43 overall in the 2015 Scout 300. Scarlett has led his team to a 9-1 record so far this season and ran for 709 yards on 84 carries. He scored eight touchdowns on the ground and added one though the air. University School plays powerhouse Miami (Fla.) Miami Central this Friday.
