FSU Targets and Commits at UnderArmour

The UnderArmour All America game will be held on January 2nd at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. There will be plenty of FSU targets in the game, NoleDigest breaks it down.

Commitments

MLB Kain Daub

*Daub made an early verbal commitment to LSU, but once he switched it up to FSU he has become one of the leaders of the class. Daub has made many trips to Tallahassee and you can expect him to be a bit of a ringleader in Orlando this week.

OLB Jacob Pugh

*One of two local commitments from Tallahassee, Pugh has worked his way into being a headliner of the recruiting class. He has as much upside as any prospect in the class and we expect a big week from him on the field.

OG Alec Eberle

*FSU found the Virginia linemen and quickly secured his verbal commitment. Eberle has spent time on both lines, but is expected to play on the offensive line this week (and at FSU). A three-star recruit, this is his chance to improve his ranking.

DL Dexter Wideman

*Wideman is still committed, but FSU will need to hold off a hard charging South Carolina (and in-state school). Wideman is a talented defensive linemen that could end up inside or out at the next level. He should receive plenty of pro-FSU inspiration this week.

Targets

CB Marlon Humphrey

*One of the top prospects in the nation, the Alabama legacy has been a priority for FSU throughout the process. Plenty of information has pointed to FSU being in the thick of the race. Obviously it is a tough pull, but there is increasing confidence it will get done.

RB Dalvin Cook

Cook is probably the player who enters game with the most "media" looking at his recruitment. The one-time Clemson and Florida commit is choosing between FSU, Miami, UF, Arkansas, and Texas at the game and we feel like FSU is in great position to land him. He is the RB that this recruiting class desperately needs.

WR Malachi Dupre

*There is very little reason for optimism here as pulling Louisiana kids is no small task these days. Dupre has kept the pro FSU banter up and is expected to visit. We will see what happens.

WR Travis Rudolph

*There is no question that Rudolph has been a priority since the summer when a visit opened the door for FSU. He had a great official visit to FSU and most felt that the 'Noles were ready to reel this one in. Alabama and Miami are also in hot pursuit and a recent trip to 'Bama certainly opened his eye's. Rudolph is Rashad Greene. GV still feels good about Rudolph and FSU.

ATH J.C. Jackson

*Jackson committed to FSU, switched it up to UF, and then had Miami as his leader. He is now wide open and the only thing known is that he will end up at one of the Big 3. It appears as if FSU and Miami have seperated themselves from UF. Jackson could end up on either side of the ball.

OL Damian Prince

*Prince finally made it to Tallahassee which opens up the door for FSU. The need on the offensive line is obviously a big one and Prince would be the young OT that could see the field early. FSU is battling the local school---Maryland in this instance---here.

WR Ermon Lane

*Lane surprised just about everyone when he committed to Florida. Recently he has backed off that commitment and FSU is in the thick of the race---some would say leading right now. The talented wide receiver has NFL potential. Lane will visit in January and this one is certainly trending in the right direction.

DL Chad Thomas

*Thomas was down to Miami, FSU, and LSU when he made his summer time decision (right after FSU camp). The superstar picked Miami, but is still going to visit FSU in January. There are some positive developments here, one to keep an eye on.

CB Adoree Jackson

*At no point in the process has it looked 'great' for Jackson, but FSU fits the criteria of a big-time football and track program, he has visited, and continues to mention FSU. FSU will need to catch a break or two here.
