FSU baseball alumnus Tyler Holt is moving up to the major leagues.

Zack Meisel of Cleveland.com has reported that former Florida State baseball star Tyler Holt (2008–2010) has been called up to the Cleveland Indians.

Holt, who has been playing center field for the AAA Columbus Clippers, will fill the roster spot of injured Michael Bourn, who was placed on the 15-day DL on Sunday morning.

Holt was a Baseball America second-team All-America as a junior at Florida State in 2010 and went on to be a 10th-round pick in the 2010 MLB draft. He was hitting .302 with a .433 on-base percentage for Columbus to date.
