10/22 Florida State Practice Report

Florida State continues to rest key players during the Bye Week.

Florida State returned to pads for the first time since the Notre Dame game. Tyler Hunter returned to practice today, but there were still quite a few players being held out. Terrance Smith, Mathew Thomas, Rashad Greene, Ukeme Eligwe, Mario Pender, Karlos Williams, Sean Maguire, and Roberto Aguayo were not dressed.

Josue Matias was not participating and had his left ankle wrapped. Kareem Are was taking reps with the first team.

During the first period the special teams unit was working on last second field goals with the offense running off and the kicking team running on after a play. Following that they were working on field goal returns similar to what Auburn ran against Alabama.

The defensive line was working on getting their hands up during their pass rush. Florida State batted down 10 balls against the Irish.

Scouts from the Bucs, Colts, and Bills were at practice.

Jimbo Fisher will not be speaking today due to the Call-In Show tonight.
