Football Practice Report: Tuesday 11/4

Florida State hit the practice fields in full pads on Tuesday.

Not much to report from practice today as the team went through a routine Tuesday practice in full pads.

Mario Pender was dressed and participated fully in what we saw. He took reps as a second-team kick returner and was taking fourth-team reps in the backfield. Pender showed no noticeable limp when moving forward but still looked tentative putting his foot in the ground and cutting.

Markuss Eligwe was not at practice for the open portion after participating fully on Monday.

Jameis Winston was definitely moving better on his tender ankle today.

DeMarcus Christmas was participating and had no visible tape on his ankle.

Terrance Smith was in a blue non-contact jersey but was participating fully after missing Thursday's game with a concussion.

After Cam Erving was at center for the early periods yesterday, the offensive line returned to its normal arrangement today. The line appears to be working harder as the second and third teamers are battling the starters more in drills. (This is a change a regular practice onlooker suggested might be helpful for FSU to do several weeks ago, and it appears they've done it.)

A scout from the Houston Texans was in attendance.
