Nick O'Leary Wins The Mackey

Nick O'Leary has been named the top tight end in the country.

Florida State tight end Nick O’Leary has been announced as the Mackey Award winner given to the nation’s best tight end. He became the first Seminole to win the Mackey Award and the fifth player to win the award after being a finalist the prior year.

O’Leary has 47 receptions for 614 yards and 6 touchdowns so far this season, and is the career leader in receptions (113), receiving yards (1,587), and touchdowns (17) by a tight end for Florida State. He won the award over semifinalists Clive Walford (Miami) and Maxx Williams (Minnesota).
