12/16 Florida State Practice Report

Florida State continues to prepare for their semifinal game against Oregon.

Florida State was in full pads for their last fundamental day before starting preparation for Oregon. Eddie Goldman, Trey Marshall, Chad Mavety, and Kevin Haplea were not dressed. Tre Jackson is sick and was not at practice. Karlos Williams was fully participating. Tyler Hunter was not dressed, but he was stretching and participating in non-contact drills.

Nile Lawrence-Stample was in shells (shoulder pads and shorts) and was participating in non-contact drills. Did not take any contact. Lawrence-Stample has been out since the Clemson game when he tore a pectoral muscle.

The defense spent the last period working on tempo. Charles Kelly was as fired up as I have ever seen him. He kept emphasizing the importance of getting a three and out.

Adam Torres was not at practice again due to shoulder surgery.

Kain Daub missed his second straight practice.

Post Practice Update

Jimbo said Nile Lawrence-Stample has a chance to return for the Oregon game. He went on to say that Lawrence-Stample would be back in pads in a couple days.
