Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles 2017 safety Ahman Ross took his third visit to Florida State on Saturday for the Seminoles Junior Day. Florida State is Ross’ only offer, but he has been hearing from Clemson, Florida, and LSU. Ross really enjoyed his visit to Tallahassee.
“It was really good,” Ross said. “It was a pretty nice visit. Nice campus. It’s a family atmosphere and the really seem like they want you to come here. Great facilities and coaches. I have a great relationship with the coaches. I can really see myself coming here in a few years.”
Ross didn’t commit to Florida State, but didn’t rule it out in the future.
“I didn’t commit, but I’m definitely considering them,” Ross said.
Defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach Charles Kelly got to spend some time with Ross before he left, and discuss what he liked about him and what he needed to improve on.
“Basically as a DB, hips, hands, feet, things of that nature,” Ross said. “Just working on my technique really.”
Ross said he plans to show the coaches what he can do at camp.
“I’ll be back to camp to show you I’ve been working on those things,” Ross said. “I want to impress them.”
