Florida State Practice Report: 4/8

Florida State is in the home stretch of spring practice and got a couple key players back from injury.

Florida State practiced in pads on Wednesday as they prepare to end the spring. Florida State got a few key players back to practice today with Jacob Pugh, Lorenzo Featherston, Chad Mavety, and Ethan Frith returning to full participation.

Nile Lawrence Stample and John Franklin III were not there. Jeremy Kerr, DeMarcus Christmas, Calvin Brewton, and Derrick Kelly were out. Ryan Izzo was in a non-contact jersey.

Mavin Saunders was the first team tight end during walk throughs.

Even though Mavety was back participating Brock Ruble continued to take first team reps at right tackle. The rest of the offensive line remained the same as well with Wilson Bell, Alec Eberle, Kareem Are, and Roderick Johnson.

Pugh and Featherston were also not running with the first team despite participating in position drills. Rick Leonard and Demarcus Walker continue to work in on the defensive line with Derrick Nnadi. With Christmas out Keith Bryant was working as the first team nose.

Jacques Patrick was working with the first team kick off return team as the up man. Mavin Saunders was working there on the second team.

Coach Fisher will speak to the media after practice, but he looked to be in a considerably better mood than after the scrimmage.
