He one is of the most coveted players in the entire country holding more than 25 offers including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, LSU, Miami, and USC. Davis picked up his offer from Florida State while he was on the visit.
Davis came down with 5-star linebacker Lyndell Wilson, and said he really enjoyed his visit.
“I loved it,” Davis said. “That was my first time down there and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the people there. The atmosphere is great.”
Davis was able to talk to linebackers coach Bill Miller before he left. Miller emphasized to him that he could play early here.
“He really wants me to come to Florida State,” Davis said. “He told me that I could play really early.”
Before he left he was able to talk with head coach Jimbo Fisher who made an immediate impression on the Alabama linebacker.
“I really like coach Fisher,” Davis said. “He is really down to earth and great to get along with. He also wants me to come to Florida State really bad.”
After the visit Davis said that Florida State has made a move for him and that he’s coming back soon.
“They are one of my top schools now,” Davis said. “I am definitely coming back soon because I love it down here.”
