2017 WR Greene Breaks Down his FSU Visit

2017 IMG WR Emmanuel Greene breaks down his visit to Florida State.

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy 2017 wide receiver Emmanuel Greene took a visit to Florida State to check out the Seminoles spring game. Greene does not hold an offer from Florida State, but does hold 15 offers including Clemson, Louisville, Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee, and UCLA. Greene came with a couple of Florida State commitments that also attend IMG in 2016 4-stars Isaac Nauta and Malik Henry.

Greene really enjoyed his time in Tallahassee and watching the spring game.

“It was pretty nice,” Greene said. “It was just good just to come over to check out the campus coaching staff and the spring game.”

Greene was able to meet with wide receivers coach Lawrence Dawsey who laid out how Florida State uses their receivers.

“We just talked about how my high school and Florida State run the same offense,” Greene said. “We talked about the receivers at Florida State and the receivers who are gone now and how they use their receivers.”

In addition to meeting with the coaches Greene was also able to hang out with some of the current players. That, he said, was his favorite part of the trip.

“I hung out with Travis Rudolph, Dalvin Cook, and Ermon Lane,” Greene said. “I liked being able to hang out with the players and them being able to show me around.”

Despite not having a Florida State offer Greene still has Florida State as one of his top schools and plans to come back to camp during the summer. He also has a visit to Ohio State planned, though he’s not sure when he will be taking it.
