Boomer Biegalski Drafted by Oakland

Boomer Biegalski becomes the first Seminoles starting pitcher drafted in 2015.

Florida State ace Boomer Biegalski was drafted in the 14th round No. 428 overall by the Oakland Athletics. Biegalksi transfered into Florida State from the College of Central Florida and worked his way into the Friday night starter role midway through the season.

Biegalski was a major part of the Seminoles success this season, and was the MVP of the ACC Tournament. He finished the year with a 7-5 record and a 3.17 ERA. He threw 108 innings and struck out 120 batters. He will likely return for his junior season.
