Devin Bush Sr. played safety at Florida State and was one of the top players at the position in Seminole history. Bush finished his career with 164 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 2.5 sacks. He had 11 tackles in the 1993 national championship game against Nebraska, which tied with Derrick Alexander for the team high. He received 3rd team All-ACC honors his sophomore season and 2nd team All-ACC honors his junior year before leaving early for the NFL.
He was selected in the first round, 26th overall, of the 1995 draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He played for seven years in the NFL and won a Super Bowl with the St. Louis Rams in 2000. He finished his NFL career with 320 tackles, 7 interceptions, 2 touchdown returns, and 5 forced fumbles.
Bush is currently the linebacker’s coach at Flanagan high school in Pembroke Pines, Fl.
