FSU All-Time Rankings: No. 71 "Snoop" Minnis

There are 71 days left until kickoff and we continue our countdown with Marvin "Snoop" Minnis who comes in at No. 72 player on the all-time Florida State player list.

Marvin “Snoop” Minnis comes in at No. 71 on our list of All-Time Florida State football players. Snoop made an impact for just one year, but he made that year count. In 2000 he was voted as a consensus All-American after catching 63 passes for 1340 yards and 11 touchdowns. He averaged 21.3 yards per reception that year as well.

Snoop is most well known for a 98-yard reception against Clemson that is the longest pass in Florida State history.

He would likely be higher on this list had he not been academically ineligible for the National Championship game against Oklahoma that year.

He was drafted in the third round of the 2001 NFL draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He finished his professional career with 34 receptions for 515 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
