FSU All-Time Rankings: No. 68 Geno Hayes

We continue our countdown to kickoff with the All-Time Florida State Player Rankings. Coming in at No. 68 is linebacker Geno Hayes.

Linebacker Geno Hayes comes in at No. 68 on our list. Hayes left after his junior season, but made a big impact for the three years he was in Tallahassee. Hayes was named first team All-ACC in 2007. He finished his career with 156 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions. He also had a punt return touchdown his freshman year.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted him in the sixth round in 2008. In 2009 he took over the starting role at weak side linebacker replacing former Florida State legend Derrick Brooks. He played seven years in the NFL and finished his career with 394 tackles, 10 sacks, and 6 interceptions.
