Every 2017 FSU Commit Lands In The Scout 100

Florida State is off to a great start in the 2017 recruiting class. All four of their commitments are among the Top-100 players in their class.

Florida State already has four commitments to start off the 2017 class and all four were named in the first 2017 Scout 100.

Mathews is rated as the No. 9 wide receiver in the class and No. 68 overall. He is one of the top athletes in the country. At the IMG Academy 7-on-7 earlier this month Mathews stood out on both sides of the ball and made some incredible catches. His size is what his keeping him this low in the rankings, but he is a top tier talent.

Parks is rated as the No. 76 recruit in the 2017 class. He committed to Florida State after earning an offer at the July Jimbo Fisher Camp a year ago. He was dominant in one on ones and already has the length that the Seminoles are looking for at that position.

White is the No. 11 ranked running back in the class and No. 81 overall. He committed to Florida State after a junior day visit in February. He has great size and speed. You may also have seen him on an earlier article breaking double-digit tackles on the way to the endzone. If you haven’t you can find it here.

Cowan is rated as the No. 95 recruit in the country and the No. 7 defensive end in the class, but he’s being recruited as a linebacker at Florida State. He picked up an offer early in the spring and made multiple visits to Tallahassee before committing during the June Jimbo Fisher Camp. He is extremely fluid for a guy his size and can play any of the linebacker positions.
