FSU All-Time Rankings: No. 65 Gary Huff

We continue our countdown to kickoff with Gary Huff who comes in at No. 65 in our all-time Florida State player rankings.

Quarterback Gary Huff comes in at No. 65 in our rankings. Huff was the original Florida State gunslinger and was elected to the Florida State Hall of Fame in 1983. He was voted on five first team All-American lists his senior year and still holds many of Florida State’s passing records. He finished his career with 6,378 yards, 52 touchdowns, 42 interceptions, and a 55-percent completion rating.

He was drafted in the second round of the 1973 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. He was the quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers first franchise win in 1977 and played in the NFL for seven years.

Huff currently works as the CFO for all the auxiliary business areas at Florida State. He has been on staff at his Alma Mater since 2006.
