FSU All-Time Rankings: No. 62 Chris Hope

Just two months left until Florida State kicks it off this season and we continue our countdown with Chris Hope, who comes in at No. 62 on our all-time Florida State player rankings list.

Safety Chris Hope comes in at No. 62 on our list. Hope was a four-year contributor, but moved into a starting role in 1999. He earned second team All-ACC honors that year and first team All-ACC honors in 2001. He was named a second team All-American by Sporting news his senior year. He finished his career at Florida State with 234 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 9 interceptions, 21 pass break ups and 4 forced fumbles.

He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2001 NFL draft. He played 10 years in the NFL and won a Superbowl with the Steelers in 2005. He was elected to the 2008 Pro Bowl. Hope finished his professional career with 716 tackles, 4 sacks, and 20 interceptions.
