FSU All-Time Rankings: No. 60 Willie Jones

Only 60 days left to kickoff and we continue our countdown of the Top-75 players in Florida State history with No. 60 Willie Jones.

Willie Jones comes in at No. 60 on our list of the Top-75 players in Florida State history. Jones was named to the All-South Independent team in each of his final three years and was named to three All-American teams his senior year. He was inducted into the Florida State Hall of Fame in 1988. He finished his career with 262 tackles, 20 sacks, 20 tackles for loss, and 6 forced fumbles.

He was drafted in the second round of the 1979 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. He played five seasons for the Raiders and won a Super Bowl in 1981.

His son, Christian Jones, also played for Florida State and is now in the NFL with the Chicago Bears.
