Offensive lineman Cam Erving comes in at No. 54 on our all-time Florida State player rankings. Erving started his career at defensive tackle before making the move to the offensive side of the ball in his redshirt sophomore year. Erving immediately took over the starting left tackle spot and performed very well. He was a key player in Florida State’s run to the National Championship in 2013.
Erving was awarded the Jacob’s Blocking Trophy given to the ACC’s best offensive lineman in both his junior and senior year. He was named a first team All-ACC offensive tackle in 2013 and 2014 and was also named a second team All-ACC center in 2014 after making the move nine games into the season. He was named to four All-American first teams in his last two years.
Erving was drafted with the 19th overall pick of the 2015 NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns.
