What are the top storylines heading into the Jimbo Fisher camp? Find out below.

Malik Henry working with Jimbo Fisher

This will be the first time that Malik Henry has been able to interact in person with Jimbo Fisher in an on the field relationship in over a year. Last year Henry attended the Jimbo Fisher camp, but had not committed to Florida State yet. Jimbo had to split his time between De’Andre Johnson, Deondre Francois, Jacob Eason, and Henry then, but Henry will be the main focus now. It will be interesting to see just how those two work together when Henry gets nearly all of the attention.

Top Georgia duo heading back to FSU

The Archer high school duo of 2016 4-star offensive tackle E.J. Price and 2017 4-star cornerback Jamyest Williams will be returning to Tallahassee. The two visited Florida State for a junior day before Price committed to Georgia, but now that he’s reopened his recruitment Florida State is looking to make a push. Both players stood out at the Opening and are being heavily recruited by the Seminoles.

Time to face the music for Calvin Ashley

Calvin Ashley will be making his first trip to Tallahassee since he committed to Auburn and offensive line coach Rick Trickett will no be happy about that. Trickett and Ashley have a very good relationship and Florida State is not out of contention for the 5-star offensive tackle despite his commitment to the Tigers.

Malik Henry to Nate Craig

5-star wide receiver Nate Craig and 4-star quarterback Malik Henry have built a very good relationship over social media, but this will be the first time that the two get to spend an extended amount of time working together. Craig’s decommitment from Auburn has opened the door for the Seminoles and having a top notch quarterback like Henry could play a big part in getting Craig to Tallahassee.

Commit watch for underclassmen

Cyrus Fagan, the No. 31 player overall in the 2017 Scout 300, has had Florida State on top for a while. He grew up loving the Seminoles and Florida State was his first offer. He could pull the trigger and commit during the camp or right after.

2018 quarterback Joey Gatewood is making another trip to Tallahassee, and Florida State sits in great position to land his commitment. Gatewood grew up a Florida State fan and could commit to Florida State on the visit.

2018 defensive end Xavier Thomas is a big Florida State fan and will be making his first trip to Florida State for the camp. He has an offer from Florida State, and could jump on it quickly if he enjoys the visit.

FSU legacy returning to Tallahassee

4-star cornerback Stanford Samuels III is one of the most coveted players in the 2017 class. He has the size, speed, and skill to be the top cornerback in the country next season. He also has a father that played football at Florida State. Despite that the Seminoles are currently tied with Georgia in Samuels recruitment. A great visit would go a long way to putting Florida State back on top.

Virginia duo making the trip to Tallahassee

The top commit for Florida State’s 2016 class is 5-star cornerback Levonta Taylor. Taylor is one of the most athletic and talented players in the 2016 class and he will be making his second trip to Tallahassee this year. This time he will be bringing his teammate, 2017 4-star running back Khalan Laborn. Laborn is rated as the No. 10 running back in the 2017 class and the No. 78 player overall.
