Jimbo Fisher Camp Top Performers: Day Two PM

Who were the top performers at the evening session of day two at the Jimbo Fisher Camp

1. 2017 4-star CB Jamyest Williams

Williams was one of the Top-5 players from the morning session and was just as good in the afternoon. None of the receivers were able to create any separation and he was extremely physical. He played with a chip on his shoulder and didn’t take a single rep off. Exactly the kind of personality that you want in your star cornerback.

2. 2016 4-star OT Josh Ball

Ball was easily the best lineman prospect at the camp. Everything was smooth and fluid with him. His footwork was excellent and he used his hands very well. Trickett was extremely happy with his performance and Ball took direction very well. Trickett never had to repeat himself with Ball.

3. 2016 LB Terrell Lucas

Lucas really popped up out of nowhere. He played defensive end on the first day of camp. Lucas will be a rush linebacker at the next level and did so well today he put himself in position to earn an offer. He had some very good reps against Josh Ball.

4. 2018 DE Xavier Thomas

Thomas is still learning what to do, but the potential is definitely there. Coach Lawing was in his hip pocket during his visit and really pushed him. He is extremely raw and doesn’t know how to do anything but bullrush right now, but the burst made him very hard to deal with.

5. 2017 4-star DT Cory Durden

Defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins has been working with Cory Durden for the first two days of camp. Durden has the tools and ability to be a great player and he was dominant during his one on one reps today.
