Offensive tackle Brett Williams comes in at No. 45 as we continue our countdown of the Top-75 players in Florida State football history. Williams was a four-year starter at Florida State and earned All-ACC honors each year. Football News named him a Freshman All-American in 1999. He was awarded the Jacob’s Blocking trophy, which is given to the conference’s top offensive lineman, in both 2001 and 2002. He was named to three first team and two second team All-American lists his senior year in 2002.
Williams was drafted in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in the NFL for three years.
He currently owns Apex Sports Academy that specializes in training high school and college athletes.
