FSU All-Time Rankings: No. 29 Tra Thomas

Only 29 more days to kickoff and we continue our countdown of the Top-75 players in Florida State history with No. 29 Tra Thomas.

Offensive tackle Tra Thomas comes in at No. 29 as we continue our countdown of the Top-75 players in Florida State history. Thomas only started for one year at Florida State in 1997, but that one year was exceptional. He was named a 2nd team All-American by the Associated Press and was awarded the Jacob’s Blocking Trophy given to the ACC’s best offensive lineman.

Thomas was drafted with the 11th overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He played in the NFL for 12 seasons and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2001, 2002, and 2004. He was also named to the All-Pro team in 2002. He started 168 games over his 12-year career.
