Florida State conducted their second practice of fall camp. What does the first team defense look like and where some of the freshman are on the depth chart?
Florida State returned for their second practice of fall camp on Friday. The weather in Tallahassee was terrible so the team made use of the IPF for the full practice. Jalen Wilkerson and Deondre Francois were the only two that were not participating. Mathew Thomas, Dalvin Cook, and Lorenzo Phillips were not in attendance.
Derrick Kelly was working as the first team right tackle ahead of Chad Mavety. That was the only change to the normal offensive line. Wilson Bell, Alec Eberle, Kareem Are, and Roderick Johnson were all in their normal spots.
Freshman Cole Minshew was working in at center behind Eberle and Corey Martinez, and Abdul Bello was working as the second team left tackle.
Demarcus Walker, Derrick Nnadi, Nile Lawrence-Stample, and Lorenzo Featherston were the down linemen on the first team defense.
Jacob Pugh, Terrance Smith, and Tyrell Lyons were standing up as the first team linebackers.
Jalen Ramsey, Marquez White, Nate Andrews, and Lamarcus Brutus were working on the first team in the secondary.
Tyler Hunter and Reggie Northrup were not taking part of the pursuit drills, but were working during the individual drills.
Ryan Green, Tavarus McFadden, and Derwin James were all working on the second team.
Marcus Lewis injured his lower right leg and left practice. He was being helped out of the IPF with two trainers on either side.
Keith Bryant and DeMarcus Christmas were working as the third team defensive tackles.
Sean Maguire continues to work as the first team quarterback. J.J. Cosentino was working as the second team quarterback and Everett Golson as the third team quarterback.
Bobo Wilson was working as the first team punt returner.
