FSU All-Time Rankings: No. 20 Greg Allen

Running back Greg Allen comes in at No. 20 as we continue our countdown of the Top-75 players in Florida State history. Allen was named to at least one All-American team in each of his four years at Florida State. He was named a consensus All-American his junior year in 1983 and was elected to the Florida State football Hall of Fame in 1990.

Allen holds the record for most touchdowns in a game with four (twice), Rushing yards in a game (322), rushing touchdowns in a season (20), rushing touchdowns in a career (43). He is second in career rushing yards with 3,769. He’s fourth in Florida State history for yards in a season with 1,134.

Allen was drafted in the second round of the 1985 NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns. He played in the NFL for two seasons.
