FSU Practice Report: 8/19

Florida State practiced today and there was a shakeup with the offensive line.

Florida State returned to practice today in pads. Mario Pender, Jalen Ramsey and Reggie Northrup were not dressed out. Auden Tate and Nyquan Murray had wraps on their hands and were not participating. Marcus Lewis was wearing a knee brace and was not participating. George Campbell was in shells and a non-contact jersey, but he was participating. Jeremy Kerr, David Robbins, and Sh'Mar Kilby Lane were all in non-contact jerseys as well. Chad Mavety was not at practice today. Calvin Brewton returned to practice today. Both Chris Casher and Lorenzo Featherston were at practice today.

There was a shakeup on the first team offensive line today. Alec Eberle was working in with Corey Martinez as the first team at center and freshman Cole Minshew was working as the first team right guard.

Josh Sweat continues to impress with his progress. He didn't seem to be showing any ill effects of his injury and showed off some incredible burst during drills. He was working with his hand in the dirt during drills. Jacob Pugh was working on the opposite side.

Scouts from the Rams, Bengals, Bills, and Colts were at practice.

Jimbo Fisher will be speaking after practice.

Post Practice Update

Nyquan Murray broke one of his knuckles and will be out 3 weeks.

Auden Tate is dealing with a staph infection with his thumb.

Reggie Northrup got a rest day today.

Jalen Ramsey had a slight ankle injury. He could have played, but no reason to over work him.

Mario Pender has had a quad injury. He could be back tomorrow.
