Florida State Running Back Mario Pender Cleared To Play Against Clemson

Florida State running back Mario Pender has been out for over a month and a half with a collapsed lung. He's been cleared to play.

Florida State running back Mario Pender suffered a collapsed lung, and, after an infection, had surgery to remove the infection on September 30th. Pender has been back at practice recently and done some work with the team, but Florida Staet head coach Jimbo Fisher had stated that he was a couple weeks away from returning to contact.

Coach Fisher told the media on Thursday that Pender has been cleared by doctors and will be available to play against Clemson. Fisher did not say whether Pender would play, only saying that he could play.
