Florida State Senior Spotlight: Everett Golson

A final look at the Florida State career of redshirt senior quarterback Everett Golson.

Everett Golson is a redshirt senior quarterback from Myrtle Beach High School in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He transferred in to Florida State from Notre Dame after the spring semester ended.

Golson earned the starting job over Sean Maguire, and started the first seven games of the season. He led the Seminoles to a 6-1 record before he was held out of the Syracuse game with a concussion. Golson got his starting job back for a brief time against NC State, but was removed from the game in favor of Maguire after a rough start.

Golson has thrown for 1,711 yards while completing 66.7 percent of his passes. He has 11 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on the year.
