Florida State finished up the Paradise Jam tournament with a 90-81 win over Ohio. The Seminoles improved to 4-1 on the season.
Once again the freshman led the Seminoles. Dwayne Bacon led the Seminoles with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Malik Beasley added 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists as well. It was the third game of the season where both Bacon and Beasley finished with more than 20 points.
Boris Bojanovsky and Xavier Rathan-Mayes both scored in double digits as well. Bojanovsky had 16 points and 5 rebounds. Rathan-Mayes added 14 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds. No other Seminole had more than six points.
The Seminoles shot 54.4-percent from the field and 38.5-percent from the three point line. For the second straight game Florida State outrebounded their opponent. The Seminoles pulled down 33 rebounds compared to 25 for Ohio.
Florida State was much better than their season average from the free throw line shooting 74.2-percent.
Florida State will travel to play Iowa on Wednesday, December 2 in the B1G-ACC Challenge.
