Florida State Soccer Heading Back To The Final Four With 5-0 Win Over Texas A&M

Florida State soccer continued their run to back to back National Championships with a 5-0 win over Texas A&M.

Florida State defeated Texas A&M 5-0 on Friday afternoon to advance to the Final Four. The Seminoles will play the winner of the Duke-Stanford matchup on December 4th.

Florida State got goals from Megan Connely and Micheala Hahn in the first half. Cheyna Williams added a goal in the second half, and Elin Jensen scored twice to finish out the Seminoles day.

Texas A&M managed just three shots, none on goal, the entire game.

The Seminoles have been outstanding on defense the entire tournament, not allowing a goal so far. Florida State has not allowed a goal in an NCAA Tournament game since 2013 Championship game. They have now set the record for the longest scoreless streak in NCAA Tournament history, which now stands at 900 minutes.

This will be the Seminoles ninth trip to the College Cup Final Four in the last 12 seasons including 5 straight trips.
