Florida State Running Back Dalvin Cook Wins The 2015 Jim Brown Award

Florida State running back Dalvin Cook picks up his first award of the 2015 season.

The Touchdown Club of Columbus named Florida State running back Dalvin Cook the Jim Brown Award winner for the 2015 season. The award is given to the nations best running back.

Cook has shattered the Seminoles single season rushing record by more than 400 yards, and still has one game to go. He is currently at 1,658 yards on just 211 carries this season. His 18 touchdowns are second in Florida State history to Greg Allen, but that record could fall as well with a solid bowl game from Cook.

Cook is seventh in the country in yards per carry at 7.86, but no other running back in the Top-10 has more than 180 carries. He is the only Power-5 running back with more than 150 carries to average over 7 yards per rush.

This is the first award Cook has won in his career at Florida State.
