Florida State's Defense Rewarded For Florida Performance

The Florida State defense put on a show against Florida last Saturday, and here's their reward

Last Saturday, Florida State dominated rival Florida 27-2. That was, in large part, thanks to a fantastic effort by the Florida State defense. The Seminole defense held the Gators scoreless, with their only two points coming on a safety for the offense.

There is a long standing tradition at Florida State for defensive shutouts. Chip Baker, Florida State's director of baseball operations, delivers a spiked baseball with the game and score written on it. Here is the latest version.

It was the lowest point total the Gators have had in the Florida State-Florida rivalry.
