Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan 3-star linebacker Devin Bush Jr.'s recruitment will come to an end today. At 12:30 PM Bush will make his college choice before early enrolling at whichever school he chooses in January. Devin Bush Sr. was a first round draft pick out of Florida State from 1991-1994. Bush Jr.'s sister also plays on the softball team at Florida State.
Florida State and Michigan are the leading candidates for Bush Jr.'s services, and he has already made his decision.
“It was just where I believe was the best place for me to succeed, the best opportunity for me to be the player I am and to flourish,” Bush Jr. said. “That was probably the biggest thing.”
I expect Florida State to win this recruiting battle. The Seminoles have a big need at the linebacker position, and family ties/proximity will play a big factor.
